About the Family Fund
Our most recent endeavor, the Family Fund, is a program to which individuals can apply for emergency financial assistance from us. These emergencies can range from medical expenses to homelessness, household bills, or any other expenses. All applicants are required to provide proof of their circumstance. This can be in the form of government documents, bills, photos/videos, bank statements, or anything else. We ask that all applicants redact all personal information, including social security numbers, addresses, credit card numbers, and anything else you wouldn’t feel comfortable showing us. Upon approval of an application, our payment to recipients can be made to specific GoFundMe campaigns or directly to individuals via Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App. The funding would not need to be paid off, however, we’d like to note that our team has a limited amount of money available to distribute as we are in the early stages of this program and there are many applicants. It is not guaranteed that an individual will recieve the exact amount of money they need, but we will get as much funding as we can for them.

Applications for the Family Fund will open on August 1, 2021 and funding will be distributed to the selected recipients by August 18, 2021.
Overview of the application process:
Sunday, August 1st: applications for Family Fund open.
Saturday, August 7th: applications close
Sunday, August 15th: email to chosen recipients sent out
Tuesday, August 17th: Deadline for recipients to reply to email and confirm their acceptance of the money
After confirmation from recipient is received: Funding distributed to recipients via GoFundMe, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal
